Titles of Tahitian love songs, hand painted by the artist along the beach glass rim, encircle images of tropical atolls
ASHLEY BICKERTON’S Dish is a two-compartment serving dish made of slumped and molded sea green glass reminiscent of the bottle glass found on the beach. Images of tropical atolls are laminated to the underside and white, handwritten titles of Tahitian love songs circle the rim of the piece.
The edition, which has been published by ARTES MAGNUS, is limited to 100 and is signed and numbered on the base.
