L'Empreinte Digitale, 1991, porcelain serving platter
Using his signature thumbprint CESAR created a porcelain serving platter for Artes Magnus entitled L’Empreinte Digitale. Manufactured in Limoges by Bernardaud, the artist's thumbprint was enlarged and transferred onto an oval-shaped platter creating a personal but universal three-dimensional decoration.
Published by ARTES MAGNUS, L’Empreinte Digitale is available in two color versions, cobalt blue or white, and each piece in the 250-limited edition has been individually signed and numbered.
