DAN FLAVIN’s dinner service, For Andre Raynaud, utilizes the same atmospheric quality of reflective light that define his fluorescent light sculptures. The 30-piece dinner service has six place settings, each in a different color. When set on a table, the deeply saturated color on the underside of each piece creates the source for his signature effect.
The ARTES MAGNUS edition has been fabricated by Raynaud in Limoges. The limited edition of 150 bears the artist’s distinct signature on the top of each piece and is numbered and signed again underneath.
